Replacing a bath with a walk-in shower is one of our most common jobs. About half the bathrooms we renovate involve swapping a bath for a walk-in shower or a shower enclosure.
We remove the bath, rework the plumbing to suit the new shower, and fit a long, low shower tray. The walls are then tanked so everything is fully sealed before tiling begins. A fixed glass panel runs along one side, with an open end so you simply walk in, and a rainfall shower head helps keep splashes inside the shower area.
If you have constant hot water, a pumped shower usually gives the strongest flow. If you need to heat the cylinder first, an electric shower heats water instantly as you use it. We'll look at your hot water setup during the home visit and recommend what suits your home.
Every job starts with a free home visit and measure-up, and you'll have a written quote within 24 hours. You choose your tiles and bathroomware, and we can recommend reliable suppliers and advise on what works best in your space. Our own plumbers, tilers and electricians then carry out the work, following the same tested sequence on every job.
